Frequently Asked Questions About Ear Coolers

What materials are used to make EarCoolers™?

EarCoolers™ are made of the purest medical grade silicone.

Can I have an allergy from silicone?

Silicone is made from sand.  It is an FDA approved material that is the most compatible with human use-thus  allergies are extremely rare.  Silicone is the material of choice for surgical implants of all kinds because  rejection rarely occurs.  If you have a history of significant allergies, check with your doctor if you have any symptoms such as redness, swelling or itching.

Will the EarCoolers™ become solid and if left in the freezer for long periods of time?

No.  The EarCoolers™ will not freeze solid. The silicone will become cold but the EarCoolers ™ will remain pliable.

Do I need to clean the EarCoolers™?

Yes. The EarCoolers™ should be washed with a gentle soap, rinsed well with clean water and dried after use.

Damaged or torn EarCoolers™ should be discarded and replaced.

How long will it take to get rid of my headache?

Everyone is different, so you will have to find out for yourself by replacing cooled plugs about every minute or so until your discomfort is gone. Remember the longer you wait, the longer it will take for the EarCoolers™ to offer relief, so the sooner the better.

If EarCoolers™ don’t ‘work’ for me, what should I do?
